Multiple personality disorder

A mental illness that caused my curiosity was the multiple personalities disorder, this disease knew it when I saw the fragmented film which tells the story of a man who suffers from this disease and their personalities take over his body and kidnap to three women.




This disease is characterized by two or more personalities in a person, each one with its way of perceiving and acting. These figures take the control of the individual and are also associated with a degree of memory loss.
It is believed that the cause is due to a childhood trauma while other cases are related to experiences of war, problems of health during childhood or genetic factors.
The treatment is long and emotionally painful. The person may experience many emotional crises due to actions of the personalities and the desperation that can lead to traumatic memories during therapy. Several periods of psychiatric hospitalization are necessary to assist the person. Frequently your doctor uses hypnosis to make manifest the personalities, facilitate communication among them, stabilize them, and integrate them. Hypnosis is also used to lessen the painful impact of traumatic memories.

Of the cases that I read of people suffering this disease were impressive and very sad because they are people who, throughout his life, have suffered greatly and are very misunderstood by society
